La Saïdia

Densely populated and unambitious area, but conveniently located relative to the center of Valencia

This area is located between Campanar and El Pla del Real, but real estate is cheaper here than in these districts. Here you can find objects of different price categories: the real estate that is located closer to the dry riverbed, as a rule, is more expensive. There is an Official Language School in this district.

Pros: You can buy a house right next to a dry riverbed cheaper than in other areas bordering a dry riverbed. This area is somewhat similar to Extramurs.

Zaydi Ya is one of the picturesque areas of Valencia, located along the former course of the Turia River. The area got its name from the palace built by the Moorish King Abu Said. Approximately 50,000 people live here, making the idea one of the most densely populated areas in the city.

Zaidia is rich in historical sights. It is home to the Valencia Museum of Fine Arts, which presents an impressive collection of paintings by medieval artists. You can also visit the Monestir de la Trinitat monastery and the Augustinian Convent for Women, as well as enjoy the Royal Gardens created on the banks of the Turia River. This garden was improved by order of King Philip II of Spain and is a work of garden and landscape art.

One of the features of Zaidi is its historical architecture. The San Antonio quarter is named after the old St. Anthony’s Church and is an example of classical medieval architecture.
