An adapted area for living
The most student-friendly area, especially when it comes to the LAmistat, Ciutat Jardi, Lilla Perduda neighborhoods. The most affordable property is located in the Lilla Perduda area. Housing is mostly old buildings, but among the proposed facilities you can choose newer options.
As for the population, both indigenous Valencians and foreigners live here. The latter often buy apartments in the area if their budget is limited. The apartments here are very well rented, although not at too high prices.
The famous private hospital Casa La Salud is located in this district, which is chosen by many foreigners for childbirth.
In this district, on the border, there is the Polytechnic University of Valencia and several faculties of the University of Valencia.
L’Illa Perduda – this block was originally a large garden, which gradually turned into an area with similar buildings due to various circumstances. This area has been nicknamed the “lost island” because of its interesting and unusual history. There is a metro station in this area for the convenience of residents.
Cuitat Jardi – this quarter is considered a middle-class housing and has wide streets, bus service and a large square called “Honduras”. There are also several schools and kindergartens for young people.
L’amistat – this quarter was formerly the Aragon railway station, where workers worked with strong friendship, which gave the name to this area. There are various institutions, parks and green spaces in the quarter.
La Bega Baixa is a small neighborhood with about 6,200 residents, well-developed transportation, a shopping center and well-maintained parks.
La Carrasca is the main asset of this area – the University of Valencia, there are also sports fields, wide streets with bus routes and even an onion field.
